Sintavia, LLC, the world's first manufacturer of fully digital aerospace components, today announced it has been awarded a contract by the US Department of Defense to develop additively manufactured hypersonic propulsion components. The contract, which is part of the "GAMMA-H" (Growing Additive Manufacturing Maturity for Airbreathing Hypersonics) project, contracted through the S²MARTS OTA managed by NSTXL (National Security Technology Accelerator), was awarded to Sintavia in part for its robust quality and to develop and test operational processes necessary to design and produce critical precision components required for hypersonic flight.
